It’s no secret that my favorite quick service restaurant on WDW property is Tangierine Café.
I order the Lamb Wrap almost every time I’m there. Sometimes I get the falafel, but this particular trip I couldn’t resist the lamb.
Matt and I decided to split the dish for lunch since we weren’t incredibly hungry but knew we needed to eat something.
The lamb wrap is topped with lettuce, onions, tomatoes, and a tzaziki sauce. Surprisingly, we shared it nicely and didn’t have to resort to a physical altercation.
The pita is soft yet hearty, and is great for sopping up the dressing and any fallen bits of lamb or veggies.
The lamb wrap is served with Tangierine Couscous, which has red and green peppers, zucchini, red onion, raisins, chickpeas, and tangerine segments. This particular time it also had just the right amount of cinnamon added. The last time I had it, there was hardly any, but the time before it had a LOT. Matt likes the salad enough for not being a fan of small grain couscous, but he enjoys the lentil salad much more.
The lentil salad is a mayonnaise based salad (lightly dressed) with green and red peppers as well as red onions. It’s very simple yet delicious, and I’ve even recreated it at home. I will typically have a bite or two of the lentils while Matt has the rest, and he’ll do the same for the couscous. Teamwork!
While spending the afternoon in Epcot, we decided to go back to Tangierine Café for dinner. Stay tuned!
