After having lunch at Mulligan’s in Vero Beach, we stopped by a place Matt spotted before Christmas while in town. The name of the restaurant/bar is BrewGrrs Burgers & Brews. They had recently opened at that time, and they started serving breakfast on weekends a few weeks prior to our visit. Since we had already eaten, we just grabbed beers. I ordered Avery’s “The Maharaja Imperial India Pale Ale.”
Now despite how much beer I consume, as well as the number of varieties, I really don’t know how to properly describe it. This was an IPA. It was fairly hoppy. I personally enjoy IPAs and this one was no exception. Here is the draft menu:

Matt ordered the Swamp Ape (sorry – no pic). We sampled each others beers and were both happy with our own orders. In addition to having 36 drafts on tap, they also had daily specials:

Take a look at the specials, especially on Sunday. We desperately need a BrewGrrs by us! If you’re a beer love and in Vero, I would highly recommended stopping in. I can’t wait for my next trip out there so I can try some of the food off their menu!
Don’t bother with the food. The beer selection and quality is quite good, but the food service and quality is sub-par and the management is horrendous. And when you spend $70+ for a family dinner of burgers with a couple of drinks with the missus, you expect to be treated with a modicum of respect. This place treats you like your dirt and then expects you to feel privileged to eat there. I’m 55 years old and have never been treated so poorly by management after my girlfriend complained that her burger was served frozen in the middle. Even if she was wrong and it was just almost frozen, they should have just apologized and refunded her meal. Instead they threatened to call the cops if she didn’t pay for her uneaten burger. What a shame that a place with such promise had to be like this. I’m glad you had better luck on your visit.
That’s unfortunate you had such a horrible experience. I still want to give it a try though, and perhaps I will have better luck when I make it back down there. But I know if I don’t I was certainly warned! It certainly is a shame they didn’t attempt to correct their mistake.
This place was the best. Great beer selection. By far one of the best i’ve seen. The food was also excellent. Cooked to perfection. Thanks for the suggestion
