Happy Thanksgiving!
I hope everyone is having a great day! I thought we’d kick off today with dessert first! The Hops & Barley Market featured a Pumpkin Mousse. It also had Ocean Spray Craisins and an Orange Sauce. Matt wanted to try this, and once he received it, I thought it looked pretty good too.

The mousse was fluffy, which allowed me to enjoy the taste of the pumpkin more. It wasn’t too sweet like pumpkin pie can be. The addition of the granola and Craisins provided a nice crunch and texture. While the orange sauce didn’t seem like it would fit, it surprisingly worked. I liked the extra flavor element. While Matt did eat most of this dish (which he ordered for himself in the first place), I could easily have ordered my own.
Keeping with the holiday spirit, back in September, we visited Liberty Tree Tavern where I ordered their Pilgrim’s Feast. Be sure to check it out if you need a turkey fix, or read about the other delicious food there!
Thank you for stopping in, and have a great holiday!

I absolutely LOVED this pumpkin mousse. I had heard on a podcast it was a must-eat & it did not disappoint. I wish I could have some every day actually. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!
Thank you, Estelle! We certainly did. I hope you did as well! I wish the recipe was in this year’s F&W cookbook!
