One of our favorite “quick sustenance” grabs has been from Min & Bill’s Dockside Diner. Their sandwiches are portable, much like the “Handwich” of WDW yore. We’ve always been fans of the Italian Sausage with Peppers and Onions, and that’s exactly what Matt ordered.
It’s just how it reads, and is really quite good. When I order it, I add packets of yellow mustard with each bite, as we’re usually on the move when we order from here.
I went against my instincts, fully aware of how icky the non-all-beef hot dogs are, and decided to give the “Frankfurter in a Pretzel Roll” a chance. It’s served with Dijon Mustard.
For once, we grabbed a bench to eat these items. The hot dog was pretty bad, as expected, although the pretzel bread was delicious. It could have used more salt on top, but its texture was soft and the dough was flavorful. It made up for the sub-par dog, until I got to the end, where all the Dijon mustard was hiding. I just didn’t care for its flavor; it was almost horseradish-y, which I was not anticipating. It’s simply not a flavor I care for aside hot dogs.
I will definitely stick with the Italian Sausage in the future (though I may give that Chicken Caesar a try), and I should ask if they would be willing to put it in a pretzel roll to get the best of both worlds. I tried something new for the sake of research, and while I dislike the dogs, I knew what I was getting myself into. If you don’t mind the dogs, give the sandwich a try. If you don’t, I recommend the Italian Sausage. It’s been on our DHS hit list for quite some time now.
So what are your thoughts on Min & Bill’s? Have you tried either of the sandwiches we had? If you’ve had the Caesar, should I give it a try?

That looks delightful!
They’re worth it for the price, and they come with a small bag of chips, too.
