We recently ate breakfast at Contempo Café, and their Breakfast Burrito proved to be a fantastic breakfast option. Matt and I have only ordered food there once post-breakfast. It was after the D23 Scavenger Hunt, and we brought a flatbread back to The Outer Rim to inhale. I was in need of lunch and was at the Contemporary, so I figured I would go ahead and order something before heading home. I didn’t want anything heavy, and the Multigrain Turkey BLT ($9.19) sounded good, and it was served with either Green Bean Salad or Fries. I chose the Green Bean Salad.
The turkey sandwich is topped with cheddar, bacon, and vine-ripe tomatoes on toasted multigrain bread with lime-cilantro aioli. The sandwich had a fair serving of turkey on it, and the lettuce and tomato were fresh. The sandwich seemed a bit on the salty side, which seemed to be from the turkey/aioli, but otherwise quite good. For a turkey BLT, I would have liked some more bacon, too.
The green bean salad was okay. I could only eat a few bites before the flavor of the sesame oil it was dressed with along with the high amount of sesame seed topping became overwhelming for me. If you happen to like sesame, this may be a good choice over the fries.
The lunch was a good option for quick service. I’d order the sandwich again, though perhaps ask for the aioli on the side, as it may have been the culprit of the saltiness as both pieces of bread had been dressed with it. I’d also order fries unless they can serve the green beans plain.
Have you tried this sandwich or the green bean salad? Do you have a favorite item from Contempo Café?

But we don’t know where the contempo cafe is………… ?????
Almost all of my posts are somewhere on property at Walt Disney World. As noted in the opening paragraph Contempo Cafe is located in the Contemporary. I also Categorize and Tag my posts to where the locations are found (Park, Hotel, Downtown Disney). If the restaurant is not on Disney Property, I typically link to the website of the business for further information.
