The pool bar, Gurgling Suitcase, at Old Key West Resort isn’t exactly located on the pool itself. It’s nestled between Olivia’s Cafe, a table service restaurant, and Good’s Food To Go, a quick serve featuring Disney basics.
It’s themed well enough to fit right in with its surroundings. Unless you looked at the sign, I’d imagine it could easily be passed by if the front doors weren’t open, inviting guests in.
The interior is covered with license plates, patches, and family photos. There’s also a fish hanging from an air conditioning duct! Even though the front doors are open, the AC keeps the interior relaively cool, and you don’t even notice how hot it is until you walk out!
Love all the donated Disney themed plates!
Here are the bottled beers available…
And the taps: Yeungling, Key West Sunset Ale, Sam Adams Summer Ale, and Bud Light.
My eye was drawn to the mixed drinks available. The Woo Woo sounds tasty! Maybe on my next visit.
If you’re interested in the Tropical Depression, here’s what it looks like without the grenadine:
I decided on the Turtle Krawl, chock full of Myers’s White Rum, Parrot Bay, Captain Morgan, and a combination of Orange, Pineapple, and Key Lime Juices with a dash of Grenadine. Just look at how beautiful it is!
Another fantastic, well-balanced drink served up by Disney. Definitely a great beverage whether you want to chill out poolside, or just unwind in some cool air on the seats at the bar.
While Gurgling Suitcase does not serve food, you can swing next door to Good’s Food to Go and order some basics from them. Click for a larger image to see what’s available.
Do any of the specialty beverages stand out to you? There are certainly more I’d like to try!

The Woo Woo looks like something I would like to try. I don’t always love tropical drinks, but luckily for me, my partner does. I’ll likely get a chance to taste the Sultry Seahorse or the Turtle Krawl without having to drink the whole thing.
I wanted to order the Woo Woo just for the name! The Sultry Seahorse was a bit off putting to me based on the Creme de Banana, but maybe I’ll give it a try next visit!
Can you visit here to try the drinks if you are not staying at this resort. I wasn’t sure since its primarily a DVC.
Absolutely! When you go through the security gate, let them know you are visiting the Gurgling Suitcase! Enjoy!
That Turtle Krawl is absolutely howling my name! Can’t wait for my upcoming OKW trip in Sept!!
It will be difficult for me to try any of the other drinks knowing how good it is!
