Tutto Gusto: Wine, Panini and a Cocktail

Snacking around World Showcase is even easier now with the addition of Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar. Although I’d only visited once, it’s become a top pick for a light snack and some relaxation. Rain had kept guests at bay on a recent visit, so we were able to grab the couches for some drinks and panini.

Our friend Adam ordered a quartino of Castello Chianti, which he really enjoyed. I sampled some and it was okay to me, but I prefer white wine to red.

Shalon ordered the Rossini, a blend of strawberry puree and Prosecco. This drink could easily be dangerous on a hot, summer day! It light, crisp and refreshing, and was a little bit too drinkable. ;)

I ordered a quartino of the Bosco del Merlo Sauvignon Blanc. This wine was a bit too sweet for me. While some may enjoy it, it’s not one I’d order again.

We ordered two of the panini to try, which are served with Caesar Salad.

Shalon tried the Bufala Mozzarella and Pomodoro. She removed the tomato as she is not a fan and it didn’t look incredibly ripe. Otherwise, the sandwich was very good.

Adam and I split the Finocchiona, which is a Toscana fennel and pepper flavored salame. I ordered the salame alone on my last visit and really enjoyed the fennel flavor. I was glad I ordered it again, this time on the mini Ciabatta baguette.

Shalon and I both enjoyed the salad. It’s a simple but flavorful accompaniment to the appetizers.

We had another great visit to Tutto Gusto, and Adam enjoyed his first visit there. I’m glad we stopped in to round out our afternoon together!

Have you been able to visit Tutto Gusto? Do you stick to the savory items, sweet ones, or have some of both? Is this more of a cocktail stop for you?

  1. The panini look delicious, as does the Rossini. We’ve made sure to set aside time on our next trip for dinner and drinks at Tutto Gusto. Nearly everything I’ve seen of this little bacari so far has looked like a winner.

  2. For places like this and La Cava, are children allowed in, or are they considered “bars”. I’d love to try both on my next visit, but will have the kids with us. Thanks!

  3. Melissa – I like the atmosphere for a drink and an app (though you can easily make a meal out of the variety!) much more than the little wine shop. It transports you to a different place.

Kerry – Children are allowed in to both Tutto Gusto and La Cava. La Cava has very limited seating and gets quite crowded, and while Tutto is larger, it can get busy. It might not be the most interesting location for the kids or a top family-centric option. La Cava has very limited food items and while Tutto Gusto has a larger selection, their menu isn’t really geared to toward younger ones. Parents can make an informed decision though based on simply knowing their children, and if a look at the menu or a quick glance inside the space doesn’t look appealing, just be sure to have a back up plan! Hope this helps! :)

  4. This may seem like a weird question but did you happen to notice if there were any non-alcoholic drinks (other than coke/soda)? I would love to try this place the next time I’m there but I’m allergic to alcohol so can’t drink.

  5. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice if there are any non-alcohol based drinks on the menu. I wouldn’t be surpised if they did have a few drinks that they could concoct for you, perhaps strawberry puree with soda water (if soda water is okay) to give it the bubbly of a drink. I believe they could accommodate your allergy, and you can still enjoy some of their fantastic flavors! If not in beverage, at least try some of their food!

  6. Oooh, strawberry puree with soda water sounds really good. It’s always tough for me when you post such wonderful sounding drinks and I can’t have any but now that I think about it, maybe I should just make it a challenge for the bartender. LOL. I definitely want to try some of the food though, it sound terrific.
