While visiting Candy Cauldron at Downtown Disney, I spotted some of the Mickey Ears-shaped coated brownies that sell for $3.99. They had a few flavored brownies, including mint and raspberry, but wanted to try the simple, plain brownie topped with bits of toffee.
The interior was dense, much like the Mickey Cake Pops sold in the confectionery shops around property. In fact, this brownie interior looks a bit less dense.
The ears are solid milk chocolate discs, and there is a fair layer of chocolate surrounding the entire treat. The toffee added a nice crunch and a slight buttery, caramel flavor.
It was a bit of a chocolate overload for me. If you like chocolate, you would probably really enjoy this. I think I would have preferred the mint brownie had I tried it as well to help break up the flavor. I’d certainly be open to trying the other ones available!
Have you tried the Mickey Ears Brownie? Did you stick to the “original” or did you try one of the flavored ones?

How big are these brownies? Do you think they were worth the $4?
It’s funny that you said it was chocolate overload. As I was looking at the photos, I was thinking, “That looks like way too much chocolate for me.” Maybe if it were offset by peppermint, vanilla or peanut butter I could do it, but I don’t think I’m a big enough chocolate fan for that brownie.
Chris – the size is pretty small. The price is on par for treats that size, but I didn’t think it was worth it to me.
That being said, in agreement to Melissa’s comment, I may have thought it was worth it i’d tried a flavored one.
