It’s been a very long time since I’ve enjoyed a Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Sandwich. In fact, I’m having trouble remembering the last time I had one. My favorite frozen treat has always been the Strawberry Fruit Bar, so ordering one of the Cookies ‘N Cream sandwiches was a big change up for me.
The 5oz. ice cream sandwich costs $3.50 and is a bit smaller than an iPhone.
The treat seems super-frozen, as the ice cream is fairly solid and doesn’t seem to melt right away. I was nearly on my last bite before the edge of the ice cream began to soften.
While the Cookies ‘N Cream ice cream does have the distinct flavor when eaten alone, it does get lost in the chocolate wafers. Overall, the sandwich wasn’t too sweet and didn’t feel heavy, making it a perfect treat in Florida’s hot summer.
Which frozen treat do you like to enjoy in the parks?

I’ve actually never had any of the frozen novelties sold in Disney parks! I’m more likely to indulge in a Dole Whip or a slush drink. Part of it is that I don’t really care for chooclate, and part of it is that I imagine those things turn into a sitcky mess after about five seconds of Florida heat. Your iPhone case is too cute, though.
Mine has to the the traditional Mickey Bar… Love that thing!
Melissa – I was surprised at how cold the ice cream was. It didn’t get all melty and it was REALLY hot out!
Ricardo – I still need to review the Mickey Bar! I haven’t had one in years!
Mickey Bar, hands down although if I could choose I’d always go Pineapple Dole float as my #1 dessert option.
I like the Dole Whip Float over the standard Dole Whip, but of the fruity soft-serve creations, I really enjoyed the Citrus Swirl at Sunshine Tree Terrace! Yum!
Frozen banana! The sandwich is in second place!
I’ve never tried the frozen banana – it sounds good, but tend to steer away from chocolate and prefer bananas when they’re green. I did see a guest enjoying one in MK the other day, and might have to give it a try!
