This past Saturday, I spotted these Goth Goodies candies on property. Those of you who follow me on Twitter and Facebook probably saw my sneak peak pictures! So far, I’ve seen two varieties. They certainly stick out amongst the other Disney treats with their black background and Haunted Mansion themed wallpaper design!
I first saw the Bones & Skulls at Samoa Snacks at Disney’s Polynesian Resort. I found both those and the Candy Corn later in the day at Ink & Paint Shop at Art of Animation.
I only picked up the Bones & Skulls to try as they looked fun and would have a sweet & tart flavor. I skipped the Candy Corn, because I can only eat it once a year, and even then I can only handle a few pieces. Maybe I’ll pick up a bag of them around Halloween to try them then!
They’re also Disney Parks branded, so I’m sure these will be popping up at Disneyland soon if they haven’t already!
The Bones & Skulls have a deep red, mottled color to them. They really stand out in the bag. The flavor was cherry and I loved them. They indeed had that sweet and tart flavor I was looking for. At $3.95 a bag for 4oz, they’re a bit on the high end, but for someone who like candies (and is a sucker for Haunted Mansion!) with a bit of a sour punch, I’m happy to pay the money.
Have you tried the Bones & Skulls or the Candy Corn? Let us know what you thought of them!

Nice to see the candy corn doesn’t contain gelatin, as they often do.
Sorry – the pic of the ingredients is for the Bones & Skulls. I can check Candy Corn next time I see them. I’ll clarify in the post!
I think the candy corn looks cute. It’s one of the few cloyingly sweet candies that I legitimately enjoy. I hope it’s still on shelves the next time we visit. We arrive on Halloween, so it would be the perfect time to try some.
I have a feeling this line will still be around. I’d buy it all year long, and would love to see the line expanded!
Do you know if you can get them for a snack credit? I do the snacks thread on disboards. TIA!
Hi Terri! I don’t believe they are a snack credit. In fact, I didn’t even see the Bones & Skulls at the Poly last weekend!
