Not too long ago, we reviewed the fun Goth Goodies Bones & Skulls candy. We were still interested in the Candy Corn ($3.95), so we picked up a package on our recent excursion to property to give them a try!
Here is a look at the nutritional info:
And here are the ingredients. Attention Andrew of the Disney Hipster Blog, I don’t see gelatin listed!
Now maybe it’s my mind playing some tricks on me due to the purple color, but these had a more fruity, dare I say grape-like flavor to them (Matt tasted it too without me mentioning it). They weren’t your typical candy corn, and I liked it. They were still a bit on the sweet side for my liking though.
They texture was nicer than the stuff you see on the shelves at Halloween too, as they weren’t as waxy.
Overall, the Goth Goodies Candy Corn were enjoyable. I skill prefer the Bones & Skulls, but for something a bit different, they’re a great choice. If you’ve tried them, let us know what you thought!
