It’s Friday, it’s been a busy week, and I think you’ve all earned a cocktail! Today we’re heading to the Caribbean kiosk at Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival for a delicious, frosty beverage: the Bacardi Torched Cherry Frozen Cherry Limeade!
While I’ve yet to sample to the food items this year, I did need to order something opening weekend! Last year I had the Frozen Dragon Berry Colada which was decent, but I love cherry limeade, so I knew I had to give the new addition a try.
Oh, and I’m also a sucker for light-up souvenir cups. Especially this one celebrating Epcot’s 30th! Yes, I spent the extra $5 for the cup, which is a pretty sturdy, thick plastic of which Matt said would make a great rocks glass.
The flavor of the drink was not unlike SweeTarts, much like the Raspberry Rain that has been taken off of the new lounge menus at WDW. You could taste a bit of sweet cherry and tartness of the limeade. Matt tasted and found it a bit sweet, but he did like it enough to have another sip or two!
I’ll likely be ordering this one again, or at least see about recreating it at home.
Let us know what you’ve tried at the Caribbean kiosk! If you’ve tried the Bacardi Torched Cherry Frozen Cherry Limeade, what did you think of it?

Seeing as how we are going to try to hit every booth at least once on our upcoming trip, like we did last year, this one definitely made the short list of must-try beverages when we were taking note of the booth menus last month. Thanks for the pics and impression. Sounds like a good treat for Melissa. I’m more interested in the cup.
I’m sure Melissa will like it. I hope they stick with the Epcot 30 cups and don’t change them out with something else later. I’m surprised they didn’t try to capitalize on selling it with with other frozen/mixed drinks with the same price point at other kiosks. Perhaps this is a test to see the demand for next year.
Haha, I’m sure I will like it too. I missed last year’s iteration of this drink and was glad to see that it includes lime this year. Cherry and lime is one of my favorite combinations.
Last year had the Dragon Berry Colada and the Rock Coconut Mojito. The Dragon Berry has returned, and the Cherry Limeade, new this year, is much tastier! The Dragon Berry has a strawberry flavor.
I LOVE that cup! I want one.
Hmm, maybe there was something made with Bacardi Torched Cherry in 2010? I definitely remember feeling like I missed out on a cherry drink (and not one with Jim Beam Red Stag) at one of the recent festivals.
You’re right! It was a Torched Cherry Colada in Puerto Rico. Excellent memory!
Yes! That was it! We got rained out that day. Just as I was getting to the Puerto Rico booth, they closed up because the wind and rain were coming in sideways. Fortunately for me, I’d much rather have lime with my cherry drink than coconut.
Hey… that is a pretty cool souvenir cup!!
I thought so too. Worth the extra $5 considering it was sturdy, lights up, and has the 30th logo!
Hmmm, I may have to convince a friend to get this and drink it so I can have the cup (and a tiny taste of the drink). LOL. (Unless by some miracle, they add the booze later and it’s not already mixed in. )
It’s already mixed in here.
I wonder if they will allow you to buy the cup separately. Doesn’t hurt to ask!
It was the best drink of the festival
