Mouse Bites for October 21, 2012

This week on Eating WDW:

Florida Local’s White Corn Arepa

We’re still rocking at the 2012 Food & Wine Festival with Florida Local’s White Corn Arepa with Mangalitsa Pork Rillette and Zellwood Sweet Corn Salad and South Korea’s Mung Bean Pancake with Shrimp and Kimchi Sauce.

I finally had lunch at Beaches & Cream!

We sampled a few drinks from the new Disney Lounge Menu: Rye Manhattan, Scottish Raspberry Lemon Drop & Forever Young

Sailing away on a Disney cruise soon? Check out the dining at Castaway Cay’s Cookie’s BBQ.

The Wave’s Soft Pretzels and Dips should be on your radar the next time you’re at the Contemporary.

And now for your Grand Circle Tour around the Disney Blogosphere!

Fairfax Fare Macaroni & Cheese and Truffle Oil Hot Dog

Rick at Disney Food Report has a Review of Gaston’s Tavern.

Head over to Delightfully Disney for Jackie‘s review of Fairfax Fare at the Studios! Although, I must respectfully disagree with the love for the Macaroni & Cheese and Truffle Oil Hot Dog. ;)

At Main Street Gazette, Aileen cooks up the Cold Sesame Noodles that have been featured at the China kiosk at Food & Wine in years past.

Andy hits up the Food & Wine Classic at Swolphin over at Eating (and Drinking) around the World.

Katherine is on an oatmeal kick at Food Fitness Fantasy! Check out these tasty chocolate oatmeal cookies she baked up!

Sarah indulges in two culinary demos during Food & Wine over at Running at Disney. She also recaps her Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk. PS – I love Italian subs from Jersey Mike’s, too!

I think it’s only appropriate that I start brushing my hair with a dinglehopper! Check out these cool brushes Amanda spotted at Disney Every Day!

It may not be edible, but I LOVE these guest costumes from MNSSHP! Thank you, Melissa Sue, of Mouse on the Mind for sharing!

Across the country, Mark of Disney by Mark enjoys a Happy Hallow-Weenie!

At AllEars, Linda checks out the Italian Food and Beer Pairing at Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival.

Rounding out the tour are these posts from Disney Parks Blog:

We preferred our food Kabaret style, friend. Cha. Cha. Cha.

  1. Thanks for the link! But how on earth can you not like the Mac and Cheese dog?! :) )

  2. I’m not a fan of the chicken & beef dogs they use, and the mac & cheese was grainy. :(
