Disney’s Vero Beach Resort, located in, you guessed it, Vero Beach, Florida is host to a few restaurants, including the second floor lounge, The Green Cabin Room.
The lounge has both in and outdoor seating, with the patio overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
We’ve dined at The Green Cabin Room once before a few years ago and wasn’t impressed, unlike a simple lunch I enjoyed at Shutters, another of the resort’s restaurants, last year (lunch is served seasonally). Looking over the menu, a number of items sounded good for a quick snack, but one item jumped to our attention: Crispy Pork Wings.
Pork. Wings. We had to order these. They are a trimmed pork shank glazed with a Sweet Thai Ginger Barbecue Sauce.
The meat was cooked through, slightly overdone, but were delicious. There was just enough sauce so that each bite had the flavor without overbearing the pork. They weren’t as messy as chicken wings, but provided that bar food feel, just a touch more refined. We could have easily enjoyed another order of these!
Here’s a look at the menus and resort specific wine list. They have the standard Walt Disney World Lounge Menu otherwise.
If you make it over to Disney’s Vero Beach Resort, I highly recommend stopping by The Green Cabin Room for a cocktail and some Crispy Pork Wings!

Looks like they changed their menu…loving the new items! Those pork wings look really good! I’d also like to try the oven roasted wings and the seafood-tini
Looking forward to my next trip there!
If you like cheese plates, another guest ordered it and I saw it – it was massive!
Thanks for the review..going to Vero in May and had been looking for some menus
You’re welcome! I have some more menus I need to post as well.
