Tomorrow, Saturday, February 9th, is National Pizza Pie Day! We’re big fans of pizza and its cousin, flatbread, here at Eating WDW, so we thought we’re share some places around property to get some pizza to celebrate! Let’s start with breakfast.
I LOVE Wolfgang Puck Express’ Smoked Bacon Pizza at Downtown Disney Marketplace. It’s large enough for sharing, too!
Artist’s Palette at Saratoga Springs has their own version of a breakfast pizza, and while it’s not very pretty, it’s still has a decent flavor at a lower price.
Over at Contemporary Resort, The Wave serves up an ever changing selection of flatbreads:
Buffalo Mozzarella Flatbread
“Everything on it” Bison Burger Flatbread
California Grill may be closed for an extensive refurbishment, but we still love their ever changing flatbreads!
Rotisserie BBQ Chicken Flatbread
Over at the Polynesian, Capt. Cook’s makes a cheesy pie.
At Magic Kingdom, head over to Pinocchio Village Haus for some of their flatbread selections, like this Caprese!
Via Napoli paved the way for GOOD theme park pizza. We loved the Piccante (and the Sangria)!
You can always smell Mama Melrose’s as you make your way towards the back of Hollywood Studios. My go-to menu item is their Carne d’Italia Flatbread.
I recently made my first visit to Everything Pop and tried this surprising Mediterranean Flatbread.

And finally, the pizza everyone thinks about when they hear “Disney Pizza,” the conveyor belt pizza! We grabbed this one from Riverside Mill at Port Orleans Riverside. Well, Matt ordered it.

I wish I was going to be in WDW to REALLY celebrate! I’d go to Via Napoli as well. We love, love, love their pizza, especially the quattro formaggi! It’s become a must-do for every visit.
It’s been too long since I’ve been to Via Napoli! I need to go back soon!
When I think of pizza at WDW I thing of Pizzafari (I think that is how it’s spelled) at Animal Kingdom!
