Among the many cookies you can find in Walt Disney World bakeries (and prepackaged as Minnie’s Bake Shop), one that has stood out to me is the Raspberry White Chocolate Cookie. The pockets of the pinks and reds set it apart from the others, with large white chocolate pieces contrasted by milk chocolate.
The cookie is dense with a dough that isn’t overly sweet, letting the candy bits do the sweetening. The slight tart taste of raspberry is reminiscent of Linzer Cookies, a favorite of mine made at Christmas in my house.
The simple cookie is well executed, with just enough sweetness for my less-than-sweet tooth. I’m pretty sure one of our readers, Ricardo, will attest to this cookie’s deliciousness!
If you’ve tried the Raspberry White Chocolate Cookie, let us know what you thought of it!

These are actually “Selma’s Cookies” and they used to be available freshly baked at Writer’s Stop in Hollywood Studios, they were a must-have favorite of ours for years. Now that they’re prepackaged, we don’t seem to eat them very often. That said, this cookie, white chocolate raspberry, was our absolute favorite.
Yes – Selma’s Cookies is also a local company, which is nice. Despite not being freshly baked on Disney premises, they are still pretty tasty!
OMG! My favorite!! I always bring home a few at the end of every trip… This last time I got 15 of them… The CM at the Confectionery was so surprised when I was checking out and said “you must really love these…”
Ricardo – I knew you’d be happy to see this post! As a fan of raspberry, I wouldn’t mind a bit more if its tart flavor, but even that little bit sets these cookies apart!
Weirdly enough for a prepackaged cookie, I’ve loved the chocolate chip version for the not-quite-fully-baked consistency of their insides. Because really, I don’t understand why we bake cookies at all when we could have cookie dough with less effort!
I love the Selma’s cookies! I think they also sell them at Goofy’s Candy Shop in DTD. They’re not the prepackaged ones; they’re in the case. I don’t think I’ve met a Selma’s cookie I didn’t like! : )
Fran – I bought this particular cookie at Candy Cauldron at DTD Westside, but you are correct – they can also be found at Goofy’s Candy Company! The one I bought was indeed from the case, too. I’ll have to try the other flavors soon! This is my first time trying any of Selma’s Cookies since I’m always on the lookout for savory snacks.
Sarah – Yep! Very happy to see this and you know I had to get one out of the freezer last night!! Yum!
I’ve avoided these cookies since they always look a little dry to me. But if you say it’s good, I think I’ll give it a try the next time I’m there.
Oh Sarah have to mention, saw a pic from Debra Martin Koma of the Marrakesh food at F&GF. Why can’t F&WF do something like that instead of that disgusting pseudo kefta they do.
Cherry – The outsides have a bit of crumble. This was my first experience with these cookies, but they did indeed have a bit of softness in the middle. I’ll have to experiment more!
I saw some pics from F&GF and Morocco at Disney Every Day and I agree! I was going to head over tonight to check out some items, but have decided to just go crazy this weekend. By the time I got out of work, it was cold and windy and lighting conditions wouldn’t be great by the time I would get settled in. I’ll probably post live pics this weekend and have full blown reviews next week!
