Karamell-Küche’s Chocolate and Caramel Covered Grapes

Chocolate and Caramel Covered Grapes. Ask Adam and Andrew of Disney Hipsters what they think of the snack and you will get two very different views on the treat. I had to try them for myself, though, so I headed over to Karamell-Küche in Epcot’s Germany pavilion to pick up a skewer.

Disney’s Minute Maid Frozen Lemonade

Minute Maid Frozen Lemonade can be found at numerous locations on WDW property. They run around $4, and you can find them in some of the parks with the addition of alcohol. Matt happened to order this one from Columbia Harbour House. Having tried a Frozen Bacardi Raspberry Rum Lemonade from Dino Diner in Animal Kingdom before, I knew what he was about to drink.

Dinner at Rose & Crown

Last summer, Matt and I stopped by Rose & Crown Dining Room for lunch. We recently had an opportunity to return for dinner. After a bit of debate on whether to order something new or not, he stuck with the item he last enjoyed: The Cottage Pie. The pie is a combination of ground beef, onions, carrots, mushrooms, creamy mashed potatoes and Irish cheddar.

A Quick Look at Coral Reef

Our friend Shalon stopped by Coral Reef at Epcot for dinner yesterday, and she was informed that they recently revamped their menu. She was kind enough to take a few pictures of what she enjoyed, as well as pictures of the menu. The Appetizer for Two has been tweaked, and she said everything she tried was really good. It had been a few years since her last visit, and that experience was a bit “blah.”

Kringla Bakeri og Kafe’s School Bread

While I’ve tried a few of the desserts in the past from Kringla Bakeri og Kafe, located in the Norway pavilion at Epcot, I haven’t reviewed any here on the blog. In particular, I’ve had the Cloudberry Horn (now slightly revamped into the Troll Horn) and the Lefse. As a neglected pavilion  for my reviews, I sought to rectify that situation with a visit, and I ordered a cult classic (which I’ve never had), the School Bread.

Kringla Bakeri og Kafe serves a few entrees consisting primarily of sandwiches, but the real draw of the space are the pastries. Most of the items on the menu you won’t find elsewhere on property. I have a lot to look forward to! ;)

But on to the School Bread. This pastry is described as a Sweet Cardamom Bun filled with Vanilla Creme Custard and topped with Glaze and Toasted Coconut.
