Disney’s Minute Maid Frozen Lemonade

Minute Maid Frozen Lemonade can be found at numerous locations on WDW property. They run around $4, and you can find them in some of the parks with the addition of alcohol. Matt happened to order this one from Columbia Harbour House. Having tried a Frozen Bacardi Raspberry Rum Lemonade from Dino Diner in Animal Kingdom before, I knew what he was about to drink.

Columbia Harbour House: Revisiting Some Favorites

One of Matt’s favorite restaurants at Magic Kingdom is Columbia Harbour House, and it had been well over a year since our last visit. With grumbling stomachs while wandering Liberty Square, he suggested we stop in for a quick bite. I thought it would be a great opportunity to check in on some old favorites.

Matt’s favorite has been the Anchors Aweigh Sandwich for some time. The sandwich consists of white tuna with lettuce and tomato on toasted multigrain bun with potato chips.

Mouse Bites for March 18, 2012

This week on Eating WDW:

Queso con Jalapeno at La Cava del Tequila

We checked out the English Bay Sugar Cookie, which replaced the Shortbread at Yorkshire County Fish Shop in Epcot’s U.K.

Canada’s beer cart menu has had a few changes.

We stopped by Crew’s Cup Lounge for dinner.

Epcot’s International Flower & Garden Festival has a great display called “Haiti: Garden of Many Colors.” We sampled their Prestige Lager and visited again for their Hibiscus Rhum Lemonade and Coconut Rhum Punch.

Big River Grille tapped their Irish Red Lager.

Choya Umeshu Plum Wine from Japan proved itself delicious.

We payed an overdue visit to La Cava del Tequila for some amazing margaritas, and getting back is a priority!

And now for your Grand Circle Tour around the Disney Blogosphere!

Designerland is showing off a slick Orange Bird design for a T-shirt.

Beers and Ears reviews Kirin Ichiban, which Matt deems the coldest beer on property during those hot summers roaming World Showcase. An Epcot trip isn’t complete without one!

As a former vegetarian/vegan, I totally need to hang out with Andrew and Adam of Disney Hipster Blog on their next trip to WDW so I can be reintro’d to vegetarian options! This round is their Top 5 at Magic Kingdom.

The Citrus Swirl has returned, and thanks to Progress City, U.S.A., Matt and I headed to Magic Kingdom to try one. Stay tuned for our review!

Brenda enjoys the Marinated Beef Flatbread at Contempo Cafe, as do we! Check out her review at Disney Food Report!

It’s official that I need to try this Chicken and Field Mushroom Pie from Cookes of Dublin, thanks to Main Street Gazette!

Have you been over to Everything Walt Disney World lately? Although this isn’t food related, Bob informs us of the Agent P World Showcase Adventure that will be replacing Kim Possible. I. Can’t. Wait! He also reviews the Anchors Aweigh sandwich from Columbia Harbour House, which is one of Matt’s favorites in the Magic Kingdom. Christina’s review of Tusker House makes me want to get over there for breakfast even more than before!

Disney Parks Blog rounds out this week with the following posts:

Mouse Bites for January 22, 2012

It’s been a busy week here on the blog, so here’s recap as well as some delicious food posts from around the Disney blogosphere! It’s a great way to catch up on news and reviews on a leisurely Sunday (or slack-erly Monday!).

This week on Eating WDW:

While Tutto Italia is undergoing refurbishment, an Italia kiosk has been set up to lure in hungry passers-by with delicious, fast Italian food.

Do you like Breakfast Burritos? Contempo Cafe serves up a hearty one.

We tried some Japanese staples at Katsura Grill.

Our Happy Hour beers at Hole in the Wall bar were accompanied by Garlic Parmesan and Truffle Oil Skinny Chips.

T-Rex Cafe’s Supersaurus Sampler host a variety of appetizers. They also make a decent Bloody Mary!

We made a quick stop at Fort Wilderness to take a look at some of the details just outside of Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue.

And now for your Grand Circle Tour around the Disney Blogosphere!

Ryan P. Wilson of Main St. Gazette gives us his review of an out of this world “All American Picnic Burger” from the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater.

The Diner Family gives their dinner at Kouzzina high marks over at Rate the Plate Utah.

Disney Food Report brings us several delicious posts! Michele satiates those with a sweet tooth with a review of Dad’s Brownie from 50’s Prime Time Café. Chris gives us the lowdown on the hits and misses for several burgers at WDW. Last, but certainly not least, George tells us about one of his new favorites, the Tri-Corner Sandwich from the Liberty Tree Tavern.

Over at AllEars, guest reviewer Andrew Rossi shares his lunch from Restaurant Marrakesh.

The Disney Blog’s John Frost tries the Okonomi Yaki at Katsura Grill. Jenn, I hope this can help until I get my review in!

Speaking of Katsura Grill, Disney Parks Blog Food Writer Pam Brandon covers the official debut of the quick service restaurant. She also informs us that National Pie Day is coming up, and where to find some top pie picks at the Disneyland Resort.

Columbia Harbour House’s Lobster Roll

Over the holiday, we spent some time at the Magic Kingdom. It was nearing lunch time, so our party of six decided to grab lunch at Columbia Harbour House. It’s one of Matt’s favorites in MK, and you can read about some of our favorite menu items here.
