The Wave: Buffalo Mozzarella Flatbread

On the Friday before New Year’s Eve, our group (of 5 at the time) made dinner reservations at The Wave so that we would be able to watch the first “airing” of the New Year’s Eve fireworks at the Magic Kingdom. As we browsed the menu, we ordered an Orlando Brewing Organic Pale Ale. I’ve ordered this before along with the Rock Shrimp Flatbread over the summer (which has since been switched out).

The Wave’s Bar

After a morning strolling around the Magic Kingdom this past Sunday, I decided I’d head over to The Wave at the Contempoary for lunch. Matt had been there before and did not have a good experience. It was bad enough that he was nervous about how that breakfast was going be a few weeks back (which turned out to be awesome). Since he wasn’t with me, it was a good time for me to give it a try.

I grabbed a seat at the bar to find my favorite Outer Rim bartender, George, working. He relocated downstairs since the bar at The Wave is open until midnight as opposed to Outer Rim, which is only open until 10pm. He immediately asked if I wanted a bottle of Miller Lite (D’oh… Been to the Out Rim much?!) but I told him that I was going to throw him off his game and ordered an Orlando Brewing Organic Pale Ale. Matt and George also exchanged “hellos” via my texting.
