Sampling Cocktails from the WDW Lounge Menu

A recently visit to Yehaa Bob at River Roost Lounge at Port Orleans Riverside came with a sampling of several of their cocktails! Some of them we’ve tried before, while others were added not too long ago to the new WDW Lounge menu. I’m interested in trying more of the cocktails to step out of my comfort zone of beer, so let’s jump right in!

Pimm’s Punch: Pimm’s No. 1 Liqueur, Hendrick’s, Odwalla Lemonade, and Wild Strawberry

Pimm’s No. 1 is based on gin and has a spiced citrus flavor commonly mixed with lemonade. I loved the combination of strawberry and mint, and this would make for an excellent summer drink! Fortunately, mild weather in Florida would allow me to enjoy this one year round. ;)

It’s been a while since visiting Yehaa Bob at Port Orleans’ River Roost. While the menu hasn’t changed since our last visit, we did have the opportunity to try something new to us. We sampled the Bourbon Barbecue Shrimp which is served on top of a slice of Grilled Grit Cake.

At Dawa Bar, we kicked back with the awesome Harambe Cooler.

We grabbed a box of Meiji Pucca Yaki Guri from Japan in Epcot.

And now for your Grand Circle Tour around the Disney Blogosphere!

Sweet and Spicy Chicken Waffle from Sleepy Hollow Refreshments

Ryan at Main Street Gazette snacks on the Rustic Ham Tartine from Boulangerie Patisserie in Epcot’s France.

Over at WDW for Grownups, Kristen shows us how to get our Bier on in Germany’s Biergarten. And to answer her question, “Yes. We can drink a liter of beer!”

Aaron shares a list of his favorite pool bars at WDW at Studios Central.

Disney Hipster Blog‘s Adam and Andrew visit Disneyland’s own Jungle Witch Doctor, Shrunken Ned. I can’t wait to visit him again in September!

Betsy shares a magical moment on a trip from a few years ago at On the Go in MCO. Also: beignets. :)

Katfrom Drinking Disney serves up a Blue Bayou from Boatwright’s Dining Hall and River Roost lounge at Port Orleans Riverside. I need to try one! She also explores the disappointing offerings for drinks at American Adventure in Epcot.

TastyChomps stops by Sleepy Hollow Refreshments for their Waffle Sandwiches.

At Disney Food Report, Brenda experiences Cinderella’s Happily Ever After dinner at Cinderella’s Royal Table in Magic Kingdom.

Rounding out the tour are these posts from the Disney Parks Blog:

New Menu Items at River Roost!

River Roost has finally upped the ante on their bar menu! You can still get the Nachos with Beef Chili, Cheddar Cheese, and Salsa (although it now costs $1 more), as well as the Breaded Crawfish Tails with Remoulade Sauce. Gone are the Buffalo Chicken Breast Nuggets, replaced by Bayou Buffalo Wings. Here’s the new menu, so keep reading for our reviews of two of the new additions!

Cocktails at River Roost

We recently visited Yehaa Bob again to watch him perform his Christmas songs, and our normal beer consumption was, um, interjected with some cocktails. But before we get into the drinks, here’s a look at Port Orleans Riverside’s Christmas tree!
