Sunshine Seasons To Go: Vegetarian Entree

Sunshine Seasons in Epcot’s The Land serves up Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, as well as items that are prepackaged and ready to go. One of the great values I recently enjoyed was their Vegetarian Entrée for $6.19.

The entrée includes pita wedges, couscous, tabbouleh, hummus, and a roasted red pepper puree.

Sunshine Seasons: Breakfast Platter

During the final weekend of Food & Wine Festival, we found ourselves needing some sustenance to get us through until the kiosks opened. We were at the park at rope drop, so we had decided to stay in the park to eat instead of heading over to one of the Epcot resorts (although Kouzzina was tempting!). Since breakfast options are extremely limited in the park, we headed over to Sunshine Seasons in The Land for a warm breakfast on the chilly morning.

We didn’t want to eat too much as we had a full day of the festival ahead of us. The Breakfast Platter was a perfect option for us to share, with enough food to hold us over for a couple hours before making our final laps around World Showcase.

Healthy Snacks from Sunshine Seasons

When I’m in Epcot, Sunshine Seasons is my go-to restaurant for a light breakfast. The sweet pastries typically served at the kiosks open in the morning do not play nicely with my blood sugar, so I need to be a bit more cautious of what I consume for my first meal of the day. My normal mornings are a combination of carbs and protein. Sunshine Seasons has an assortment of fruit and veggies available, and when you get closer to lunch, you can get salads, sushi, and tabbouleh wraps, to name just a few items.

Main Street Gazette‘s Ryan goes kid-sized at Sunshine Seasons.

Disney Parks Blog rounds out the week with their posts:

  • 1901, a lounge accessible by Club 33 member, is set to open inside Carthay Circle Theatre at DCA. “Imagine it’s the 1930s, and this is where the animators would’ve hung out, swapped stories, doodled on napkins,” – some guy that’s not on animator payroll. ;)
  • Oh yeah. Don’t forget to put your name on the waiting list for Club 33!
  • And if I wasn’t already excited for Food & Wine, BLUES TRAVELER!
  • Oh, and Tutto Gusto and Tutto Italia have opened as well.
