Wyndham Bonnet Creek Resort

Even though home base isn’t very far from the parks, sometimes it’s nice to get away for a few nights. We find this especially true when family is in town and we know we’ll be spending a lot of time in the parks. We recently stayed at the Wyndham Bonnet Creek Resort which is located in the Epcot resort area.

Our 1 bedroom suite was located in Building 1, which is the main building. We have stayed at the resort before, in the same building, which is where check-in is located. The pool and lazy river are also located here, along with some dining.

While we did not dine here, I wanted to give you a tour of our room as it may suit your needs whether it’s for a quick getaway or and an extended stay. The proximity to Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Typhoon Lagoon, and Downtown Disney is ideal as well.

While Disney has many perks for guests staying on property, there are times it doesn’t make sense for us. As passholders and Tables in Wonderland members, we miss out on items like free dining because we don’t need a park ticket package. We do take advantage of Florida resident and passholder room discounts when we can, but sometimes availability doesn’t suit our needs.

Wyndham Bonnet Creek Resort offers many great amenities, is in a fantastic location, and gives us more space than a standard hotel room. It feels more like a home away from home. According to the website, here are the amenities of the resort, as well as a description of our 1 bedroom unit. I’ve also located a floorplan for your reference.

  1. I’m glad that you posted this as I’ve considered staying at this resort. During a visit last April, I obtained a resort via priceline and was hoping this would be the result of the bid. Marriot World was the result instead.
Still, I would like to try this place out.

  2. I can certainly recommend it, especially if you’re an Epcot fan. The proximity is great, yet you feel like you’re “getting away” from all the foot traffic around the Boardwalk, Yacht, and Beach Resorts.
