Seasonal Items Join Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe Lineup

Out west in Disneyland, some seasonal items are joining the Jolly Holiday menu, and some of their sandwich sound really good! They’re offering a Pastrami Reuben on rye with Swiss Cheese, Sauerkraut and “Classic” Sauce, a cold Roast Beef on a Baguette topped with Arugula, Pickled Onion and Tomato with Mustard Aioli, and a Chicken Waldorf on Brioche, which features a mix of chicken breast, green apple, celery, Craisins and mango chutney. Or you can skip the bread and order the Mediterranean Chicken Salad, featuring Greens, Cucumbers, Kalamata Olives, Tomato, Sweet Red Peppers, Pepperoncini and Feta with Balsamic Vinaigrette.

But more impressive than the aforementioned lunch offerings are their ELEVEN new sweets! Chocolate fans can indulge in Chocolate Brownies; Red Velvet Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting and Strawberry-Chocolate Shavings, Chocolate-Peanut Butter Whoopie Pies, and S’mores Bars: Chocolate Tarts filled with Caramel-Chocolate Ganache and topped with Graham Crackers and Toasted Marshmallow Fluff.

Finally, there is a selection of French Macarons, including Raspberry and Chocolate Hazelnut.

Everything sounds so delicious! These posts regarding Disneyland food from Disney Parks Blog are killing me. Which items stand out to you?

  1. I really wish they’d bring some of the desserts (and even some of the food) from Disneyland over to here. It always seems like they’re allowed to be more creative over there.

  2. I totally agree. I think it’s the California mindset, paired with the fact that it seems they get a lot more local visitors in the grand scheme of things. WDW definitely has a more international feel when it comes to guests. Trust me, I’d cry happy tears if we got Haunted Mansion Holiday over here, but that’s not where there money lies. 😦 But I digress – It’s just food! Give us some of that fun stuff! 😉
