Trattoria al Forno is just a little over a month away from opening on December 18, and the Disney Parks Blog has released the restaurant’s breakfast menu. As you may know, nearby Flying Fish has been serving breakfast while the former Kouzzina undergoes its transformation into Trattoria al Forna, and we stopped by last month to test it out.
There have been a few minor changes to the menu, but it does remain largely the same as what we had at Flying Fish. While I did enjoy the Frittata, I’m particularly interested in the Cured Italian Meats with Tomatoes, Hard Boiled Egg, and Cheese with Fonduta! Below is the menu from my visit in October.
Chef Dee Foundoukis is placing an emphasis on fresh ingredients, and while American classics are found, Italian flavors are making their way onto the menu. The dining room will be inspired by farms in the Italian countryside, and the open kitchen will allow the smell of the wood burning in the oven to enter the room.
Officially opening December 18th, Trattoria al Forno will serve breakfast from 7:30-11 a.m. and dinner from 5-10 p.m. The restaurant will accept the Disney Dining Plan, as well. Reservations can be made by calling 407-WDW-DINE or visiting www.disneyworld.com/dine.
