The Disney Parks Blog has released some images and information regarding Downtown Disney’s transformation into Disney Springs. First, the “Springs Bottling Co.” sign has been installed above the space that will house Morimoto Asia and has a turn-of-the-century feel. You can watch a time-lapse video of the installation here. Waterview Stage, adjacent to the site of The BOATHOUSE, is offering nightly entertainment (information on showtimes can be found in the Times Guide at Downtown Disney).
Later this month, the West Side will see the opening of the Food Trucks at Exposition Park. This will act as a permanent home for the trucks. Additional seating and shaded areas will also be available for diners.
The first phase of Disney Springs is known as The Landing, and guests are able to see the progress of this area. The pedestrian walkway between Portobello and Paradiso 37 is now open, and it is scheduled to be fully open by the end of the month, providing direct access to West Side. Finally, the West Garage, the first of two garages on deck for Disney Springs, will be available for parking beginning November 20.
What are you most looking forward to when Disney Springs is complete?
