Sure, I go and post Mouse Bites this morning and a bunch of food news comes out of the Disney Parks Blog! Go figure. 😉 Here’s what you need to know:

Orange County Restaurant Week

Out in California, Orange County Restaurant Week will run from March 1-7, 2015,  and will feature Disneyland Resort favorites among the 100+ participants. Steakhouse 55 will offer three courses for $50, as well as an optional wine pairing ($35). Here is a look at the menu:

Caviar Selections and Seasonal Truffle Menu at Remy

As we shared over on our Facebook Page last week, Remy has some premium culinary options up its sleeve. More details were released today, and, in addition to the Petites Assiettes experience, caviar and truffles are in the spotlight.

Remy’s selections will be offered a-la-carte, and will include farm-raised Osetra and Sevruga caviares from regions of France and Russia. The caviar is served with blini pancakes, an egg cake, a cream sauce, and Krug Grande Année Champagne.

The truffle menu will be offered from November through February. The restaurant’s selection includes white Alba and black Périgord truffles, and come infused throughout a six-course menu. (I ordered the truffle menu in January 2013 on the Fantasy, and I will say, it is quite an experience!) Dishes include “gnocchi potato served with a truffle puree and garnished with grated truffle, fresh Maine lobster coupled with lobster bisque and truffle-seasoned Parisian fried potatoes and seared Wagyu beef over truffle glazed baby vegetables.” For dessert, you can indulge in an assortment of cheeses and sweet selections.

2015 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival Dates Set!
