Is it just me, or did this week seem to fly by? It was a busy – and at times stressful – one, and I know I’m definitely ready for a three day weekend! Let’s recap what we’ve been up to this week. First, we spent some time over at Sanaa where we enjoyed a nice lunch in the lounge. We had a guest review from Ashley, who shared her tips for dining at WDW on a budget. We also visited Downtown Disney where we enjoyed a Slow-cooked Pot Roast Sandwich from Superstar Catering.
On the news front, there has been a lot to read about! Lunch reservations will be available beginning February 25th at Be Our Guest in the Magic Kingdom. Some info has been released showcasing merchandise for the 2015 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. The ‘Cooking Safari With Mickey’ cookbook is set to debut this spring at Animal Kingdom, and Scott Sanders of The Disney Cruise Line Blog notes that it looks like it will be available April 15, 2015.
Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day, and if you’ll be in WDW or Disneyland Resort, be sure to see what special treats they have in store! Disneyland is offering some special meals at several restaurants, as well as some sweets, like a cute Minnie Mouse-inspired Candy Apple in pink. Walt Disney World has their own share of specialty sweets in the parks and some resorts as well. If you’re not visiting WDW until next month, you might want to check out the ‘Mighty St. Patrick’s Festival’ which will run March 13-17, 2015 at Raglan Road in Downtown Disney.
Our friends have been up to some culinary adventures, as well!
Melissa of Rolling with the Magic has a fantastic post with gorgeous photos from Remy on the Disney Dream.
Breakfast Power Wrap at Riverside Mill (Note: this has since been revamped)
See what Adam and Andrew of Disney Hipster Blog did with 10 hours in WDW.
Thank your for visiting and we’ll keep you posted on any Disney food news that comes our way over the weekend. Enjoy your Friday and have a great weekend!
