Paradiso 37 and Planet Hollywood are undergoing expansions, with Paradiso’s expansion wrapping up later this summer, and Planet Hollywood’s slated for Spring 2016, the Disney Parks Blog reports.
Paradiso’s expansion will nearly double their current capacity, featuring additional waterfront terrace dining, a performance stage, and additional frontage on the promenade, according to Rashid Choufani, the restaurant’s CEO. The restaurant will remain open during the renovations, and will continue to offer its “Taste of the Americas”-inspired menu.
Planet Hollywood is being completely made over, transforming it into a “four-story stargazing observatory to match the design aesthetic of Disney Springs.” The facade will have a turn-of-the-century feel, while inside it will have spherical, planet-shaped lighting fixtures and stylish finishes to appeal to a new generation of guests, though movie memorabilia will stay.
Outside, guests will find an outdoor terrace and bar space called Stargazers, which will offer live entertainment. Music in the main dining room will feature a DJ. In addition to favorite menu items, new dishes will join the lineup. A new beverage menu will offer milkshakes, smoothies, wines, cocktails, and both bottled and draft beer.
