Mother’s Day is fast approaching (Sunday, May 10), and the Disney Parks Blog is reporting several special ways to treat mom for holiday. A specialty Red Velvet Cupcake featuring White Chocolate Mousse Frosting, a White Chocolate Flower, Heart and Square Garnish, and Strawberry Chocolate Curls will be available at Jolly Holiday Bakery Café, Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Café and Pacific Wharf Café.
In Disneyland, Carnation Café will be serving Teriyaki Honey Grilled Salmon with Spinach Orzo, while Bengal Barbecue will feature a Jambalaya Skewer. Blue Bayou Restaurant will serve, on the holiday only: Crayfish and Herb-crusted Roasted Sea Bass on Angel Hair Pasta tossed with Wine-ripened Tomato Fennel Sauce, served alongside Asparagus Spears and Herb Tomatoes. Stage Door Cage will offer a Lemon Blueberry Funnel Cake.
In California Adventure, Carthay Circle Restaurant will serve the “Carthay Benedict” for lunch. Their spin features two Poached Eggs served on Grilled Petit Filet Medallions, Country Corn Bread, Ranchero Black Beans, and Poblano Chili Hollandaise.
Storyteller’s Café, Disney’s PCH Grill and Goofy’s Kitchen will feature a Mother’s Day Buffet Brunch. Reservations can be made by visiting Disneyland.com/dine, or calling 714-781-DINE.
