Cinco de Mayo Menus at Downtown Disney District

Special Cinco de Mayo menus will be coming to Tortilla Jo’s and Crossroads at House of Blues at Disneyland’s Downtown Disney District, reports the Disney Parks Blog.

Crossroads at HoB will offer a “Menu Especial from Friday, May 1 through Tuesday, May 5. Guests can order their choice of Street Tacos (Blackened Chicken or Fish), or a Chorizo Burger with Shredded Lettuce, Avocado, and a Fried Egg. For dessert, you can indulge in Strawberry Empanadas with Cinnamon Cream and Powdered Sugar. Margaritas are also available, including a Don Julio Margarita for the celebration.

Tortilla Jo’s will offer a special menu on Tuesday, May 5 only. They will offer several dishes, including an Ensalada Bandera featuring Baby Iceberg Lettuce Wedges, Diced Tomato, Green Onion, Crispy Bacon, Hard-boiled Egg Whites and Ranch Dressing. Their Camarones Agua Chile features Shrimp cooked in fresh Lime Juice and served with a mix of Red Onion, Cilantro, Red Peppers, and an Avocado slice. The Tricolor Doraso Filete is Pan-seared Mahi-mahi with White Onions, Capers, Olives, fresh Oregano, and a White Wine Broth served on Red and Green Bell Peppers. The Pollo Adobado is grilled Chicken Thigh marinated in dried Chiles, Oregano, and Vinegar served with Mexican Red Rice and Frijoles Churros. For dessert, guests can order the Gelatina de Tres Leches, a custard featuring the colors of the Mexican flag. In addition, three specialty Margaritas will be available: the Blanco Traditional with Don Weber Blanco Tequila and Lime Juice; the Margarita de Raspberry Rojo with Patron Reposado Tequila, Lime Juice, Raspberries and a float of Cointreau; and the Green Melon Margarita with Cuervo Tradicional Blanco Tequila, fresh Lime Juice and a float of Melon Liqueur.
