Some new dishes have made their way onto the menu at several locations at Animal Kingdom, according to the Disney Parks Blog. At the Gardens Kiosk, on Discovery Island, you’ll find the Trek Power Salad, which features quinoa, beets, edamame and citrus.
There’s also a Farmer’s Salad with blueberries, goat cheese and candied pecans. Both are eligible as a snack entitlement on the Disney Dining Plan. A Chilled Green Tea infused with orange blossom honey, cucumber-mint-pomegranate lemonade, and raspberry lemonade sweetened with stevia is also available.
While it doesn’t sound as refreshing in the heat as the salads, Beastly Kiosk is serving a Baked Lobster Mac and Cheese as well as a Baked Pasta Marinara with Mozzarella. Both count as snack entitlements on the Disney Dining Plan.
Across the way at Bradley Falls, there is a new Asian Beef Slider, Edamame, and Asian Noodles. It’s been a couple weeks since I’ve been to the park, but it sounds like the slider replaced the Thai Pork Sandwich, which I enjoyed.
