Mouse Bites for February 19, 2012

It’s been another insane week here in Orlando! Matt and I spent some time in Nassau for his brother’s wedding, but we kept the posts on deck! We’re both looking forward to checking out Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom, and I could use some Space Mountain. While I head to the Magic Kingdom, have a virtual escape with me enjoying this weeks flavors!

This week on Eating WDW:

Dinner Hard Rock Cafe Orlando

Last week, Matt and I had the opportunity to enjoy a They Might Be Giants concert at Hard Rock Live over at Universal Orlando’s CityWalk. I know, we strayed from our home of WDW! While there are several options for table service dining, Hard Rock Cafe Orlando was our best option since it was right next to the concert hall. We kicked off our evening with a couple of beers while we checked out the menu.

After a few minutes, we both decided we were in the mood for burgers (although the Balsamic Tomato Bruschetta for $10.50 sounded delicious). Matt kept it simple by ordering The Big Cheese Burger ($14.95), which is topped with three thick slices of your choice of cheeses: American, Monterrey Jack, Cheddar, or Swiss. He chose American. Also, burgers are garnished with lettuce, red onions, tomato, pickles, and served with seasoned fries. He also asked for mayo on the side.
